Blanche Royer was born in Ventour, Nj on January 8,1913.  Her parents names were Alfred Joseph Royer and Martha Louise Binder.  She was affiliated with the Methodist Church.  She attended Atlantic City High School and matriculated to Dickinson College were she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1934.  While at Dickinson she became a member of the elite Phi Beta Kappa Fraternity which is an honor's society.  She later married Morgan McKean and became and accountant.
