Barbara Rynk was born
in Scranton, Pa on February 24,1912. Her parents names were Stanley
Henry Rynk and Sara Wyoming Hummel. She was affiliated with the Lutheran
Church. Barbara attended Kingston High School and later matriculated
to Dickinson College were she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1934.
After graduation she married George L. Reynolds and began to teach in a
High School.
