Harrisburg Train Station |
This is the train station in Harrisburg that served the Cumberland Vally Railroad as it appeared during Tiphen's time in Carlisle. The building was owned by the Harrisburg and Lancaster Railway and was replaced in 1857. The image was taken from Paul J. Westhaeffer's book, "History of the Cumberland Valley Railroad, 1835-1919" (Ephrata, PA: Washington, D.C. Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, 1979).
