B.S., Dickinson college, 1924; M.S. Lafayette College, 1925; Ph.D., Princeton University, 1930; Edward Hart Research Fellowship in Physical Chemistry, Lafayette College, 1924-25; Graduate Student and Assistant in Chemistry, Princeton University, 1927-29.

Activities
Member of the American Chemical Society and Society of Rheology.

Involvement with Dickinson College
While a student at Dickinson College, Rogers was a member of Kappa Sigma, Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa. He joined the faculty in 1925, as an Instructor of Physics and Chemistry. In 1929, Rogers was promoted to Associate Professor of Chemistry.
