Dickinson
was involved in China through many of its alumni, however two in particular stand
out from the rest. Of the many Dickinson graduates who worked and studied in
China, Reverend Francis D. Gamewell and Reverend Raymond R. Brewer were perhaps
most interesting and remarkable. Their work in China made a lasting impression
on their colleagues abroad and at home.
