Greek Club

                The Greek Club was founded in 1909. It was a scholastic club that focused on furthering knowledge on Greek culture and literature. In the first semester of 1934 Theban and Boetian history and civilization were the main topics of discussion within the group. The second semester was dedicated to discussion of philosophy from the Greek Ages up to the time of Christ. The discussions held various forms, including formal directed meetings and informal open forums for discussion. The group also took a trip to State Museum and Library at Harrisburg.

The officers of the club in 1934 were:

president: Frank Matthews
Vice President: William Dodd
Secretary: Jeanette Bastress
Treasurer: Luther Linn
